Vincent Badu appointed to Director of Partnerships and Deputy Chief Executive

We are delighted to announce that Vincent Badu has been appointed to the role of Executive Director of Partnerships and Strategy/Deputy Chief Executive.
Vincent has been working with the trust as Director of Transformation since autumn 2016 and will take up his new role on 3 September.
Trust Chairman Andrew Ling said: “We are extremely pleased that Vincent has decided to stay with KMPT. We ran a rigorous selection process which included psychometric testing, focus groups and a formal panel interview with two external assessors. Helen as Chief Executive now has her Deputy Chief Executive and a Director of Partnerships and Transformation.
“We are both looking forward to working with Vincent on some important initiatives not least of which, building on our partnerships with those who use our services and their loved ones.”
Commenting on his appointment Vincent said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be appointed to this new executive role. It’s has been a great opportunity to be part of the leadership team and I’m really looking forward to working closely with all our partners to enhance patient experience and develop local services.”
Vincent Badu was a member of the executive team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust before joining KMPT. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Director for Strategy and Resources in Adult Social Care and Housing in Bracknell Forest. Vincent gained almost 20 years of experience working in local Government and Social Care in London and the Southeast before joining the NHS.
