Our trust maintains ‘healthy workplace’ status through Platinum Level Award by Medway Council
Date added: 20 December 2024
We are delighted to share that following a two-yearly re-assessment by the Public Health Team at Medway Council, we have been re-accredited our Medway Workplace Wellbeing Award to Platinum level, supporting our commitment to the health and wellbeing of our employees.
The Medway Healthy Workplaces programme, and the Medway Workplace Wellbeing Award, provides employers with an easy and clear guide on how to make workplaces a supportive and productive environment.
Through demonstrating clear and continuous improvement of our health and wellbeing offering and continuing to show our wider influence in health, environment, and corporate and social responsibility, we’re so pleased we’ve maintained our Platinum level Award.
Eric Barratt, Health and wellbeing lead, said, “Having achieved the Gold award in 2021 and progressed to Platinum in 2022 we are delighted that our health and wellbeing offer for our staff was judged by the assessors to have been worthy of re-accreditation for the prestigious Platinum level Award.
“The Medway Health Workplaces programme takes a holistic approach including leadership, culture and communication in businesses, alongside health and wellbeing topics. This provided an opportunity to demonstrate our on-going commitment to the health and wellbeing of staff whilst also assisting with identifying opportunities to further develop our offer.”
