The Umbrella Centre
The Canterbury Umbrella Centre is a charity community centre that is open to everybody and provides support to people with mental ill health.
Umbrella is located in a purpose-built centre designed as a place where people can come and feel welcomed and supported.
How they can help
Millennials breaking barriers
Canterbury Umbrella is proud to be working with students from Kent University to develop a breaking barriers group.
This is an opportunity to discuss issues important to students and reduce stigma. These sessions are open to all students, including those from Canterbury Christ Church and surrounding sixth forms.
Support groups
These include Rethink, bi-polar, epilepsy, Carers’ Matters and a mental health forum.
