They are a charity established in 1975 to develop volunteering and communities and are now leaders in social prescribing and other innovative approaches to improve wellbeing in communities.

Community navigation and carers support

Their Community Navigators can help you to access and understand the different services available to you, including: exploring and building social networks and enabling access to a range of activities, which may include carer support, peer support, befriending, exercise, arts and heritage, creative activities, physical activities, cognitive stimulation opportunities.

Older people

Improving the health, wellbeing and independence of older people by bringing people together. They facilitate and develop volunteering to provide practical support, information and advice, leisure, learning, health, wellbeing and social activities for older people.

Social prescribing

Involve is leading the development of social prescribing in Kent with innovative evidence based programmes, integrated with health partners. We are working in five lead GP practices, each with a dedicated 'link worker' supporting health and clinical staff to address the social and community needs of their patients.

Volunteering and community

They improve the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged, marginalised or vulnerable people by unleashing their potential to contribute to society and give to others. Build the confidence, skills, independence and resilience of people who have or are at risk of having mental health issues, by providing opportunities to come together, share experiences and give to others.

Wellbeing and independence

They coordinate support for people who need that little extra help to stay well living at home within their community, including transport, gardening, shopping, social opportunities and help at home, maintaining quality of life and improving wellbeing.
