Performance in clinical trials
We are continually striving to be the best at research that we can be.
We provide the government’s National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) with performance information quarterly in relation to the studies we are involved in. This involves sharing how long it takes us to set up studies and then the time to get participants to take part.
You can view the data for KMPT’s performance in 2020/21 and 2021/22 here
Performance in Initiating (PII)
We are asked to report to the NIHR how quickly we get clinical trials up and running. These reports show how quickly we have set-up clinical trials in the last 15 months.
- Performance in Initiating – 2020/21 Q3 and Q4 Performance in Initiating Clinical Research
- Performance in Initiating - 2020/21 PII (Quarters one and two)
- Performance in Initiating - 2019/20 PII
Performance in Delivering (PID)
We are asked to report information about the commercial studies we are involved in. These reports indicate whether we have achieved the targets set out for us by the companies in the last 15 months.
- Performance in Delivering – 2020/21 Q3 and Q4 KMPT had a “nil return” for Performance in Delivering Clinical Research. This means that no commercial clinical trials hosted by KMPT closed to recruitment in the previous twelve months of these two quarters.
- Performance in Delivering - 2020/21 PID (Quarters one and two)
- Performance in Delivering - 2019/20 PID
Older PII and PID reports between 2015 – 2019 are available on request to kmpt.research@nhs.net
