PATH training opportunities

New PATH training

PATH is an EU-funded project which will enable women, families and healthcare professionals to prevent, diagnose and successfully manage mild to moderate perinatal mental health issues which occur during pregnancy or in the first year following the birth of a child.

As a part of this project, we have worked together with healthcare professionals, and people with lived experience of perinatal mental health issues to co-create training sessions which aim to improve the understanding of perinatal mental health issues.

We have training opportunities available for healthcare professionals and non-clinical community support workers who work with new/expectant parents, and for family and friends of new/expectant parents who might be experiencing perinatal mental health issues.

All sessions are virtual unless specified otherwise. In order to participate in virtual sessions, you will need access to a laptop/mobile device and a stable internet connection. No specific resources are required for in-person sessions. Attendance details will be supplied when you have signed up to a training session.

Training will be held between April and June 2022. If you are unable to make it to any of the sessions listed in the booking form, please do check back for more dates that will be announced in the coming months. Alternatively, please email kmpt.path@nhs.net for more details.
