Harbour of Hope

The Harbour of Hope is a network for people living with dementia in Dartford, Swanley and Gravesend. We are committed to improving the quality of services for people living with dementia in Kent. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 12pm to 1:30pm at Safeharbour.

Our main aims

  • To bring awareness around dementia diagnosis to reduce stigma in society.
  • To show that people can live well with dementia.
  • To work together to improve things.
  • To discuss what is not working well for us within the community and local services.
  • To look at issues/projects presented to us by local services and the community.
  • To give recognition and praise when things are done well.
