We want to change our name
We’ve spent a lot of time talking to the people we care for, the partners we work with and our staff about our trust and what people think of us. As part of this, we were told again and again that our current name is confusing and shares little connection with how people describe us or the services we provide.
Mental health is the core service we offer – and we’re proud to be a mental health trust serving all of Kent and Medway – so we would like to change our name to Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust. In choosing this name we have followed NHS England naming conventions and we think it more clearly explains what we do.
We want to check if this name is clear and understandable to all of our audiences.
