The trust has signed up to the NHS England Sign up to Safety campaign. It aims to strengthen patient safety in the NHS and make it the safest healthcare system in the world.
Sign up to Safety pledges
In order to work towards the aim, all healthcare organisations have been invited to make pledges on the action they will be taking within each of the following areas:
- Put safety first
- Continually learn
- Honesty
- Collaborate
- Support.
Safety Improvement Plan
Our Safety Improvement Plan identifies the patient safety improvement areas we will be focusing on during the next three to five years.
Sign Up to Safety staff questionnaire
To measure the patient safety climate within the trust, a questionnaire was sent to staff. The results, which can be viewed on this page, have informed both the development of the Safety Improvement Plan and the Quality Account priorities.
