Mental Health Crisis Care Concordat
Improving outcomes for people experiencing mental health crisis
Nationally, the Government has put mental health at the centre of its programme of health reform. NHS England has been given a mandate to put mental health on par with physical health and has a specific objective to improve mental health crisis care.
The trust is leading on developing a response to the Crisis Care Concordat objectives; developing an improvement plan with our partners, including Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmbs).
Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have set out their expectations for the trust within the Urgent Response CQUINs.
